Kyle Korver was known as one of the greatest shooters in NCAA History, making 371 career three-pointers with 45.3% accuracy. His senior year, he was a consensus All-American while leading the team in scoring (17.8 PPG), rebounding (6.4 RPG), and steals (1.5 SPG). He was named Missouri Valley Conference MVP while putting the Blue Jays in the national rankings for the first time since 1975. His jersey (25) has been retired by Creighton as he led the team in scoring all four years of his college career. In the 2003 NBA Draft, he was selected 51st overall by the New Jersey Nets where he was immediately traded to the 76ers due to the Nets not having much cap space at the time. Korver turned into one of the best shooters in the NBA, shooting 43% from three over his career. In 2015, he was selected as an All-Star while shooting 49.2% from three which led the league. He ranks 5th all-time in 3-point field goals made with 2,450 and ranks 10th in all-time 3-point shooting percentage (42.9%). Korver played his last season in 2020 and was a well-respected veteran. In August of 2021, Kyle Korver was hired by the Brooklyn Nets as a player developmental coach.
