Joakim Noah was a dominant big man at both ends of the floor for the Florida Gators. He spent three years with the Gators, winning back-to-back NCAA National Championships in 2006 and 2007 and being named Most Outstanding Player in the 2006 tournament. His sophomore year, he set an NCAA Tournament record with 29 blocked shots and a national championship record of six blocks against UCLA. Noah was Honorable Mention for AP All-American honors his sophomore year and was named First Team All-SEC his sophomore and junior year. He was a Consensus Second Team All-American his third and final season for the Gators. Noah was drafted 9th overall by the Chicago Bulls where he became a two time NBA All-Star and a member of the NBA All-Defensive First Team in 2013 and 2014. He was the NBA Defensive Player of the Year and on the All-NBA First Team in 2014. After a long and successful career in college and the NBA, Joakim Noah announced his retirement in March of 2021.
