Deja Kelly
Deja Kelly came into the University of North Carolina as the 10th ranked recruit in the 2020 class. She tallied 3,216 points in her career (22.2 ppg). In 2020, she was named the Gatorade Texas Girls Player of the Year and was a McDonald’s All-American. Her freshman year at UNC, she started 23 of 24 games while averaging 11 points per game. She was named the ACC Freshman of the Week twice and was an ACC All-Freshman selection as well. In her sophomore season, she continued to build on her game as she scored a career-high 31 points against Clemson with 5 3-point field goals made. Kelly was named First-Team All-ACC as she led the Tar Heels in scoring with 16.5 points per game. Deja Kelly was a strong player in the NCAA Tournament as she led the Tar Heels to the first Sweet 16 in the last 7 years.
