Maya Brady

Maya Brady is a redshirt sophomore at UCLA and she proved how good of an athlete she was her freshman year by winning the Softball America Freshman Player of the Year award. She led the Bruins with 7 homeruns and tied for first with 28 RBI’s. She hit a home run in four of her first five games of her career and was named Pac-12 Player and Freshman of the Week after her performance at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament where she had 9 RBI’s and batted .500. Brady's sophomore year, she was named to the NFCA All-American and All Pac-12 First Teams along with the Softball America All-American Second Team. She was also named to the NFCA All-West Region Team while batting .333 with a .435 on-base percentage. She had a grand slam and career-high 6 RBI’s against Arizona State. She helped lead her team to the Women’s College World Series by hitting home runs in game two and three at the Super Regionals against Virginia Tech. Maya Brady was named Softball America’s 2022 NCAA Preseason All-American.
