Russell Westbrook came into UCLA his freshman year with a very small role with the team, averaging 3.4 points per game. His sophomore year, his role only increased as he started 34 of the 39 games, averaged 12.9 points per game, 3.9 rebounds per game, and a team-leading 4.3 assists per game. He was the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year and was selected Third Team All-Pac-10 Conference. He helped lead UCLA to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament after the Bruins had won the Pac-10 regular season and conference tournament title. He was drafted 4th overall in the 2008 draft by the Seattle Supersonics who relocated to Oklahoma City six days after he was drafted. His rookie year, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team while averaging 15.3 points per game and appearing in all 82 (started 65) games of the regular season. Russell Westbrook was the face of the franchise for the Oklahoma City Thunder as he added countless accolades to his name; 9 time NBA All-Star, 2 time NBA All-Star Game MVP, 2 time All-NBA First Team, 2 time NBA scoring champion, and 3 time NBA assists leader. Westbrook is the first person to average a triple-double for a season since Oscar Robertson in the 1961-62 season, and Westbrook did it for four seasons in the NBA (3 with the Thunder and 1 with the Wizards). Russell Westbrook played one season with the Houston Rockets, one season with the Washington Wizards, and played one season for the Los Angeles Lakers.
